Kiwanis Christmasland in Humboldt is now open for the holiday season. It is located directly south of Humboldt City Hall at 407 1st Avenue S. The regular hours will be 6:30 to 8:30 pm in the evenings with additional hours from 2:30 to 4:30 on scheduled Saturdays and Sundays. The Kiwanis Club has never charged admission, but donations are welcome. To arrange group tours, call Dave Lee at 515-890-0116.
The Humboldt 7 O’Clock Kiwanis are having their Annual Spaghetti Supper Monday December 3rd at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. The time is 5-7 PM. There will be a local book signing and art sale at the Humboldt and Dakota City Chamber and Welcome Center at 604 Sumner Avenue in Humboldt. Carolyn Saul Logan will be signing her book titled “Humboldt History in the News” and her artwork will be on display from Tuesday, December 18th through Friday, December 21st. Books will also be available for purchase at that time.
