Des Moines, IA — Iowans will start to see ads’ campaigning their state as Debi Durham is leading a charge with the economic development department to try to bring more people to Iowa.
The title of the campaign is “This is Iowa” and already has a clever YouTube video posted online that has individuals from New York City view homes and apartments that they think are in New York but are really in different locations in Iowa. This effort was kick started with a news conference with Governor Kim Reynolds (R-IA) in attendance along with stories from people who moved into Iowa from out of state and stayed permanently because of their successes.
According to the US Census Bureau Iowa is 29th in population growth.
