Humboldt, IA — Todd Lee the Conservation Director of Humboldt County met to discuss two new cabins being constructed at Joe Sheldon Park.

The plans are for two 576 sq. ft. cabins that would house up to 6 persons to be built on the campground portion of the park. Lee has already had momentum behind the idea becoming a reality and came with a tentative plan having gotten approval from other leaders in the community. Each unity will have an estimated cost of $60,000 each for the materials needed.

The cabins would be open to the public for rent and the tentative start date for the cabins to be ready for use would be around September of this year.
