Humboldt, IA — The Humboldt softball team is without Ashlyn Clark but that isn’t stopping them from doing their part to support their teammate.
Clark was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin’s lymphoma and is out for her final season of playing softball for the 2019 season.
In the meantime, to show support for Clark the Humboldt softball program will host “Ashlyn’s Night at the Ballpark” on June 27th at the Humboldt softball field with an evening highlighted with food, celebrity slow-pitch softball game between Iowa and Iowa State, dunk tank, and more.
All proceeds for the event will benefit Ashlyn’s family. Donations may be made to the Ashlyn Clark Fund at First State Bank in Humboldt or through a Go Fund Me page which can be found online.
