KHBT — One person has been charged following a Sunday roll-over accident, the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Department reports.
The accident took place Sunday near Iowa State Highway 3 and 220th Street in Humboldt County.
According to law enforcement, the driver, 37-year-old Mary Jane Saathoff was eastbound on Highway 3, just west of Hawaii Avenue when she entered the north ditch and rolled.
The vehicle was then moved to a field approximately 1.5 miles from the accident scene. It was seen by a third party who reported it to law enforcement.
Saathoff was charged with Failure to Maintain Control and Driving with an Open Container.
Saathoff suffered minor injuries, per the report, but was wearing her safety belt at the time of the accident.
