National Weather Service Issues Flood Warnings

Humboldt, Iowa — The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for Humboldt County until tomorrow morning.

The NWS reported at 5:58 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding across portions of the warned area.

Rapid snowmelt is also occurring and will add to the flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include: Fort Dodge, Boone, Carroll, Denison, Jefferson, Sac City, Audubon, Pocahontas, Rockwell City, Dakota City, Humboldt, Madrid, Ogden, Lake City, Manson, Manning, Coon Rapids, Laurens, Glidden and Lake View.

If you encounter a flooded area, turn around and find an alternate route. Turn around, do not drown.
