HCMH Named Top 100 Critical Access Hospital

Humboldt, Iowa — The Humboldt County Memorial Hospital has been named one of the Top 100  Critical Access Hospitals in the United States by the The Chartis Center for Rural Health.

The award is regarded as one of the industry’s most significant designations of performance excellence, the annual Top 100 Critical  Access Hospitals award is based upon the results of the Hospital Strength Index from iVantage Health Analytics.

According to the index, hospitals recognized as Top 100 facilities scored in the Top 100  of 50 rural-relevant indicators across eight pillars of hospital strength.

The indicators are pulled from publicly-available data sources.

In the announcement, HCMH said “It is because [HCMH’s] compassionate care and commitment to [their] patients and the services [HCMH] provides that [HCMH] received this award.”
