Webster City, Iowa — The Humboldt Wildcat girls’ basketball team dropped another close game last night on the road to the Webster City Lynx, 42-31.
Humboldt cut the Lynx lead to 29-26 early in the fourth quarter, only to see the Lynx rally and pull away late.
Lynx guard Taylor McKinney led all scorers with 23 points.
The Wildcats are now 4-16 on the season.
They’ll close up their 2019 regular season Thursday night on the road at Belmond-Klemme.
Saturday will mark their post-season opener, they’ll travel to Roland-Story.
Tip-time for Saturday’s contest is set for 7:00 p.m.
