Livermore Woman Uninjured in Accident in Shopko Parking Lot

Humboldt, Iowa — A Livermore women is uninjured after striking a light pole in the Shopko Parking lot earlier this week.

According to the Humboldt Police Department, 60-year-old Cynthia Hennigar was the lone party involved in the accident.

Per the report, Officer David Jones was dispatched to Shopko on January 14th on a report of a vehicle hitting a pole. Jones stated that he spoke with Hennigar, the driver of a 2011 Chevy.

Hennigar told Jones she was “unsure” of what she did but she did hit the [yellow] pole.

Jones estimated the damage costs at about $1,000.

Damage was contained to the front passenger side corner only.

Damages to the Shopko pole were estimated at $50.
