Humboldt, Iowa — The Humota Theater non-profit will be holding a fundraiser February 16th in downtown Humboldt.
The group will be hosting Humboldt’s own Lone Tree Revival band at Rustix beginning at 7:00 p.m.
The event will run until 10:00 p.m.
According to movie to movie theater manager Sarah VanOrd Humota will also be hosting a silent auction at the same time.
Many items have been obtained through a number of donations from businesses, says VanOrd, and the group is still accepting donations until January 31st if there are still interested businesses.
This past October, Humota transformed into a 501c-3 non-profit now being aided by a Board of Directors led by:
- Bill Jorgenson
- Jeff Knutson
- Sherry Bulten Erickson
- Chad Theesfeld
- Susan Rutz
- Tom Tierney
- Bob Myott
- Stacey Origer
- Missy Weeks
VanOrd and Andy Millam will act as advisers to the board.
Of course, all items sold in the silent auction are to the benefit of the Humota Theater.
