Humboldt, Iowa — The Humboldt Wildcat girls’ basketball team (3-9) dropped their third straight game, and sixth of their seven, Tuesday night 65-42 at South Central Calhoun.
The top-ranked Titans, undefeated on the year, used a 28-7 3rd quarter run to pull away from Humboldt.
Humboldt did keep it close for the first half, trailing only 19-17 after 16 minutes of play.
Junior guard Mady Lange led the scoring attack for Humboldt with 13 points, she also added 8 boards.
Jori Hajek chipped in with 8 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals.
Maddie Jones led the offensive charge for the Titans, registering a game high 22 points and 11 rebounds.
The Wildcats will resume their North Central Conference schedule Friday at home versus Webster City.
