Algona, Iowa — The Humboldt Wildcat girls’ basketball team dropped to 3-8 last night after suffering a 63-55 loss to Golden Bears of Bishop Garrigan last night.
Humboldt trailed 11-3 after one quarter of play, but were able to claw within four at the break.
Garrigan would outscore Humboldt by four again in the second half to pull away late and secure the victory.
The win snapped a two-game losing skid for the Golden Bears.
Humboldt will be right back at it tonight, as they travel to South Central Calhoun to battle with the Titans.
Tip-off is set for 6:15 p.m.
Unfortunately, there will be no radio for tonight’s game.
