Eagle Grove Man Arrested on Shots Fired Charges

Eagle Grove, Iowa — An Eagle Grove man is in custody following a report of shots being fired at Union Pacific Railroad bus, last Thursday morning in Eagle Grove. 

Authorities say 38-year-old Jason Bouska fired shots at a bus owned by Union Pacific Railroad in Eagle Grove last Thursday near Railroad Avenue and SE 2nd Street. 

Bouska was observed in the doorway of a nearby residence with a weapon. He eventually exited the residence and was taken to into custody.

According to the Eagle Grove Police Department Bouska was charged with Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon, Class C Felony, and Going Armed with Intent Class D Felony. 

Assisting the Eagle Grove Police Department with the incident were the Wright County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa State Patrol, Iowa DOT Motor Vehicle Enforcement and agents with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and Union Pacific Railroad Police.
