Humboldt, Iowa — Rodd Mooney’s Humboldt Wildcat girls’ basketball team (2-6) will look to stop a drought that has seen them lose six of their last seven when they host the Garner-Hayfield-Ventura Cardinals this evening.
Humboldt is coming off a disappointing 39-35 loss to Saint Ed’s, one in which Kendal Clark registered a double-double scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds.
G-H-V comes in with an overall record of 5-3 on the year after beating Eagle Grove earlier this week.
The Cardinals are led in scoring on the year by sophomore guard Jayden Frank, who scores 11.1 per game.
Tip-off is set for 6:15 p.m.
