Humboldt, Iowa — The Humboldt Wildcat basketball team saw their winning streak end this week at four, but can start a new one this evening as they welcome in the Cardinals of Garner-Hayfield-Ventura.

Humboldt dropped their second game of the season this past Tuesday, 66-60 on the road at Fort Dodge Saint Edmond.

The Cats, now 5-2, will lock horns with 5-3 G-H-V who is led by University of Northern Iowa recruit James Betz.

Bets averages a modest 15.6 points per game and nearly 8 rebounds, but is aided by a deep cast of characters for the Cardinals.

The 6’7″ senior will undoubtedly be a matchup nightmare.

Tonight’s game will tip at 7:45 p.m.

You can hear proceedings tonight on The Bolt.
