Humboldt, Iowa — At long last, winter sports are back underway this week at Humboldt High School.
Doesn’t the lay-off between fall and winter seem like forever?
Nonetheless boys’ and girls’ basketball, as well as wrestling are opening their 2018-19 schedules with their first practices today.
Girls’ basketball will scrimmage Thursday at Iowa Central, taking on Southeast Valley at 6:10 p.m.
The boys’ will open up their pre-season Saturday at Bishop Garrigan, playing in a triangular against the Golden Bears, Alta-Aurelia and Manson-NW-Webster.
Wrestling will begin their season on November 29th at Estherville Lincoln Central.
