Humboldt, Iowa — Former Humboldt Wildcat standout girl’s basketball player Avery Terwilliger is entering her second season at Iowa Central and the sophomore guard is off to a great start.
Terwilliger, a 5’10” guard, poured in 12 points as Iowa Central earned their first win, 74-49 over Central Community College, this week.
Terwilliger went 4-of-7 from the field, 2-of-4 from three and stuffed the stat line with five rebounds, three assists and three steals in 25 minutes.
Avery and the Tritons will take the court again Friday in the Pinnacle Bank Classic against Butler Community College in Columbus, NE.
Tip-off is 5:00 p.m.
