Humboldt, Iowa — Sandy Loney will be the new face on the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors.

Loney won the primary election earlier this year, then came back to win the general election last night.

Loney won in strong fashion in the primary, tallying 117 votes nearly double that of second place Todd George and triple that of Jim Crabtree who finished in third.

Last night was more of the same for Loney, who took home 71% of the vote, 686 in total.

Todd George, the primary runner-up, garnered about 28% of the vote, with 278 in total.

Loney is a long time member of Jet Company, working there as the Director of Human Resources and Safety.
