Humboldt, Iowa — One person was cited as a result of an accident Wednesday in Humboldt County, the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Department says.
The accident took place near 3rd Avenue and 3rd Street in Livermore.
According to the report, the first vehicle, driven by 29-year old Curtis Telsrow of Livermore was northbound on 3rd Street.
The second vehicle, driven by 38-year old Brett Johnson of Cedar Rapids was traveling eastboudn on 3rd Avenue in a farm tractor.
The report states that Telsrow was stopped at the stop sign but then proceeded into the path of Johnson’s tractor. The tractor struck the front of Telsrow’s vehicle causing significant damages.
Telsrow was cited with Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device.
No injuries were sustained in the accident.
