Football: Two Wildcats Named All-State

Humboldt, Iowa — The All-State football teams were announced yesterday and the Humboldt Wildcats have two representatives on the list!

First is junior KR/PR Jamison Heinz, who was named Second-Team All State return man.

Heinz finished with five total return touchdowns, four kick-off and one punt return touchdown. He averaged 48 yards per return on kickoffs, and 40% of his total returns went for scores.

Heinz averaged 13.6 yards per punt return on 13 total returns this year, as well.

The other is Jacob Weisbrich, a senior defensive lineman, who was named 3rd team all-state along the defensive front.

Weisbrich finished the season with 41 total tackles, including a team-leading 14 for loss and one sack.
