Humboldt, Iowa — The 28-4 and North Central Conference champion #12 ranked Humboldt Wildcat volleyball team will be in action this evening opening up the Class 3A Region 3 playoffs in a quarterfinal match-up with Greene County.
Greene County enters proceedings tonight losers of six of their last seven matches, with each loss coming by way of a sweep.
Humboldt is coming off a thrilling come from behind victory over Webster City last Thursday.
Should the Wildcats win this evening, they’ll play the winner of Roland-Story and Southeast Valley next Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Humboldt High School.
The top half of the bracket sees #6 Osage squaring off with Clear Lake and Forest City battling Garner-Hayfield-Ventura.
Tonight’s game is set for 7:00 p.m., you can hear all the action on the Bolt tonight at about 6:50 p.m.
