UPDATE: Webster County Authorities Seeking Help Locating Suspect in Arson Case

Fort Dodge, Iowa — On Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at approximately 4:30AM multiple calls came into the Webster County Telecommunications Center about a fire in the Iowa Central Community College parking garage at One Triton Circle.

Officers with the Fort Dodge Police Department responded to the scene as well as fire fighters with the Fort Dodge Fire Department. W

hen emergency personnel arrived multiple vehicles inside the structure where on fire.

Fire fighters where quickly able to extinguish the fire and an investigation was begun by both departments. The State Fire Marshall’s office was also contacted to assist with the investigation.

Through the course of the investigation it was determined that the fire was deliberately started and a suspect was identified.

Search warrants where conducted at locations tied to the suspect and further evidence was collected. As a result of the investigation the suspect, Terrell Adams (22), has been charged with Arson 1st Degree, a Class “B” Felony.

Update:

Late Wednesday evening Adams turned himself in to law enforcement officials at the Webster County Law Enforcement Center.

Adams was charged with Arson in the 1st Degree, Criminal Mischief in the 1st Degree and Possession of an Explosive or Incendiary Device.
