Humboldt Supervisors Consider Door Locks for Courthouse

Dakota City, Iowa — The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors once again met with Travis Kampen of Electronic Specialties regarding courthouse locks, at their meeting on Monday.

Kampen and the supervisors discussed the best way to accommodate the supervisors request to change locks in the courthouse stage by stage.

The board told Kampen that they would like to have the outer doors done first, as they are their number one priority.

The rest could be done in stages, supervisor Rick Pedersen told Kampen.

Pedersen and Kampen would work on getting together and scheduling a time to walk through the building together.

Kampen did tell the board that “the more [doors] you pull at the same time the easier it is on [him]”, but he did agree that the outer doors should remain the supervisors priority.

No other official action was taken on the matter on Monday.
