Humboldt, Iowa — No injuries reported after an elderly woman crashed her car into a building in downtown Humboldt. Elizabeth Crandall, 84, of Algona, was traveling on North 3rd Street when she allegedly lost control of her vehicle and struck Johnson Wealth and Income Management.
The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office says they believe Crandall was attempting to park and accidentally accelerated. There is approximately $8,000 in damages to the property at 12 N 3rd Street. Crandall’s SUV has roughly $1,200 in damages but she was able to drive away from the scene, unharmed.
