Humboldt, Iowa — The Humboldt Family Aquatic Center announced their closing date in a release via the social media platform Facebook.
The pool stated that yesterday was their last weekday of operation for the summer, but will remain open for this weekend and next, with the last day of operation for the summer set for August 26th.
The release indicated that the reasoning was based upon the staff being primarily made up of high school and college students heading back to school.
In the statement, the pool said they “are proud of our staff that is made up of students who are active in the sports offered at [Humboldt] High School.”
