Adopt-A-Seat Fundraiser Ongoing for Humota Theater

Humboldt, Iowa — Last week the Humota Theater and several city leaders met and voted to maintain the Theatre and turn it into a 501c3 Non-Profit.

The theater currently has working by-laws in place and are meeting as a board in the coming weeks to get the non-profit board of directors/committee set up.

In the meantime, the theater is still running their adopt-a-seat fundraiser to help get the capitol start up necessary to purchase the equipment within the building (which itself will be donated).

Humota only needs 300 people to adopt seats in order to meet their  goal.

They are currently selling seats for $150 per person and $300 per business/group.

Each person will have their name engraved on a plaque that they will hang within our theater as Friends of the Theatre/Donors/Supporters are all proudly on display there.

The plaque and engraving will be done free of charge by Renae Dryer at Humboldt Engraving/The Biz.
