One Uninjured in Wednesday Crash

Humboldt, Iowa — The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Department says one person was uninjured in a Wednesday morning accident.

Deputy Sheriff Dean Kruger says 18-year-old Brandon Taylor of Pocahontas was charged with Failure to Provide Financial Liability.

The report indicates that the accident took place near P29 and Florida Avenue.

Taylor claimed he was adjusting the radio an went across the center-line into the roadway driving on the shoulder. Taylor attempted to correct the vehicle but over-corrected causing the vehicle to cross over both lines, then enter the west ditch.

The vehicle struck the embankment and rolled

Taylor was able to exit the vehicle under his own power.

No injuries were reported as a result of the accident.
