Mobile Food Pantry Returns to Humboldt

Humboldt, Iowa — The Food Bank of Iowa’s Mobile Food Pantry is coming back to Humboldt this week.

The event will take place Wednesday evening at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds Event Center and is first come, first served.

It is open for the public.

At each mobile pantry distribution, a truck delivers a customized load of food—produce, meat, bread and non-perishable items are common—to the fairgrounds.

This is the first time the pantry is back in Humboldt County since May of this year, but it will return later this fall in September as well as November.

The group encourages those in attendance to bring baskets, bags or totes to carry the food out in,.
