Humboldt, Iowa — The primary results are in and the new supervisor District Two is Sandy Loney, who took home 117 total votes, good for 46.43%.

Taking second was Todd George who collected 25.79% of the vote.

Jim Crabtree placed third, while Brian Skow took fourth.

Loney will be on the ballot for the November election and any of the other three could potentially run again, according to County Auditor Peggy Rice. They would need to file a petition statement to get back on the ballot.

Loney is currently the Director of Human Resources and Safety at Jet Company in Humboldt. She’s been in that role for the past eight years.

Prior, she worked for Decker Truck Line in a similar capacity.
