Humboldt, Iowa — The Humboldt Wildcat baseball team (8-9) will look to continue their stretch of strong play tonight with a road date at Clear Lake.

Humboldt has won two of their last three games including a thrilling, walk-off victory over Webster City last week.

Clear Lake defeated Humboldt earlier this season 2-1, in Humboldt on June 1st and the Cats will be looking for revenge.

Humboldt will likely have their full allotment of arms tonight, with five days of rest since last week’s contest versus Spirit Lake.

That could mean the Cats will throw their top two arms in either Cade Witzke or Colby Clarken.

The forecast for tonight’s contest looks meager, but if it plays, the game will be heard on the Bolt at 7:30 p.m.
