Humboldt, Iowa — The Humboldt Wildcat baseball and softball teams will both be in action this evening at home for a Friday night double-dip.
Both teams will be welcoming in the Lions of Clear Lake with both games scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
The softball team is coming off a 5-0 shutout win over Garner-Hayfield, one in which their sophomore pitcher Ellie Jacobson pitched a complete game no-hitter, while striking out twelve.
Doug Van Pelt’s group is 5-0 on the year.
Baseball is off a to a 4-2 start this year, after crushing Fort Dodge St. Edmond on Wednesday night.
Cade Witzke was the winning pitcher in that contest.
Tonight’s baseball game can be heard on 97.7 with pre-game beginning at 7:15.
