Humboldt, Iowa — The Humboldt High School Class of 2018 should be proud. Yesterday the Wildcats graduated 91 students in front of a packed Wildcat Gym.

Humboldt seniors Cassie Peyton and Jared Knapp were the selected speakers appointed to address the ceremonies.

According to Humboldt principal Lori Westhoff, 21 of the 91 students graduating earned GPA’s between 2.499 and 3.0. Eighteen graduates held GPA’s above 3.5.

Four graduates yesterday were recognized with silver cords, meaning those students completed over 400 hours of community service hours.

Eight members of the class will be joining the military following graduation, as well.
