Algona, Iowa – The Humboldt Wildcat Boys Basketball team (4-4) fell last evening in a non-conference road matchup, 87-57, to Algona Bishop Garrigan (6-3).
The Wildcats were within single digits after the first quarter, but the Golden Bears used a second quarter run, to extend their lead to 43-32 at the break.
Bishop Garrigan sophomore TJ Schnurr lead the offensive onslaught for the Golden Bears, asserting himself in the paint without answer all night.
The Wildcats are next in action Friday at home versus Iowa Falls-Alden with a boys and girls varsity doubleheader beginining with the girls at 6:15 and the boys at 7:45.
